Aeroflot Expands Summer Flight Program to Popular Turkish Resorts

Starting in late June 2026, Russia's flag carrier Aeroflot is significantly increasing its flight frequencies to key coastal destinations in Turkey. To meet the peak summer demand, the airline has scheduled additional rotations from Moscow and several regional hubs to Antalya, Bodrum, and Dalaman. These adjustments aim to provide travelers with more flexible scheduling options during the high holiday season, which typically sees a surge in Mediterranean tourism.

Increased Connectivity to Bodrum and Dalaman

The airline is introducing more frequent services to the Aegean coast to accommodate the influx of tourists. From July 3 to September 27, travelers can access three additional weekly flights from Moscow to Bodrum. These flights are strategically scheduled for the weekend rush, operating on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays using Airbus A321 aircraft. The A321 is favored for these medium-haul routes due to its balance of capacity and fuel efficiency.

Furthermore, the gateway to the Turquoise Coast, Dalaman, will see its capacity boosted from July 6 to September 10. Aeroflot will deploy Boeing 737-800 narrow-body jets for three extra weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This move ensures a consistent flow of passengers to the popular resorts of Marmaris and Fethiye.

Extensive Flight Network to Antalya

Antalya remains the primary destination for international arrivals, prompting a massive expansion of regional departures. From June 26 through mid-October, Airbus A320 aircraft will serve various Russian cities. The expansion includes the following regional schedules:

  • Moscow: Two additional daily flights from June 26 to October 11.
  • Yekaterinburg & Mineralnye Vody: Three flights per week starting June 28 and June 26 respectively.
  • Chelyabinsk: Three weekly rotations from June 27 to October 10.
  • Kazan & Samara: Two flights per week each, running through early October.
  • Perm: One weekly flight scheduled between June 27 and October 10.

The strategic increase in flight volume reflects the ongoing demand for Turkish resort destinations among Russian travelers. By diversifying departure points and increasing the frequency of flights from regional centers like Kazan and Yekaterinburg, Aeroflot reduces the necessity for passengers to transit through Moscow. These additional services are expected to stabilize ticket availability during the 2026 summer season, providing more predictable travel logistics for holidaymakers heading to the Mediterranean.
